My visit to Cambodia in the summer of last year (June 2014).

Quite a remarkable place, for several reasons.

All in all, I have to say : I loved it there. The people were VERY friendly, polite, and welcoming.

On the other hand, they simply won’t leave you alone (haha). They are always on the look-out for tourists (some of whom make themselves simply too obvious). They always want to sell you something — goods or services.  And, if you decline, they can’t seem to take “No” for an answer.

As a result, a simply act of walking down the street becomes a hassle……….a real challenge, as you are pestered by locals everywhere you go.

Well, that’s part of the fun of traveling, isn’t it ?  :=)))

Still, it was an enjoyable trip.  And, I managed to split it between the two most popular cities :  Phnom Penh (the capital), and Siem Reap.
